Kris Jensen – Assyrian Language Translation
Kris belongs to the Wycliffe Bible Translators (WBT) organization. Wycliffe was founded in 1942 with William Townsend’s vision to have God’s Word accessible to all people in a language that speaks to their heart. Their goal is to see Bible translation in progress in every language that needs it by the year 2025!
Kris demonstrates a passion for accomplishing the Wycliffe vision through her work in translating the Bible into the Assyrian language. This language is spoken in Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Armenia. Assyrian is just one of many Aramaic languages spoken. Kris and her team are making amazing progress and she keeps us updated regularly.
