Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

What a wonderful greeting!

There could not be a more welcomed hope! We need to reach deep within for all the significance of this Day!  No wonder Paul resounded in his letter to the Colossians … Christ in You, the Hope of Glory!

Is Easter just another Hallmark on your calendar that Spring has sprung or the family is coming for dinner? Not this Easter. Perhaps the setting of a pandemic’s crisis brings us to our knees, resulting in the cry, “He is Risen Indeed”!

With hope gone… the appearance of defeat, fear, panic and resolve to bewilderment, gives way to the most undeniable fact of history. The grave is empty!

God’s love for the world couldn’t have been demonstrated in any other way!

John 3:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

His love has not changed. It is just as powerful and overcoming to anything this broken world can throw at humanity.

We might not be thinking Easter, in our “traditional sense”. But, we need to be thinking Easter means resurrection and recovery. We CAN be together again, embracing, loving, and free to live.

This virus may have challenged us, set us back a few steps, but Easter resurrects us! Both now, and forevermore. Our brightest minds may be confused, our leaders may be found reaching for solutions all to no avail. But not God. He has overcome the greatest enemy, fear and death we all face, by facing it Himself!

Our future is not limited or edited by crisis. Because we can look at an empty tomb, we know Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Be sure to be with us Easter Sunday morning at 10:15 Streaming Live on our Facebook page. Our worship team will help us Worship like never before. My message is: Today is a New Day!

See You in Church,
Pastor Greg

Happy Easter!
